Our 71 rooms are divided on four floors, all connected by an elevator and featuring either village or garden views. Single and double rooms offer either a King-size bed or two single beds. Family rooms can host from 3 to 4 persons (from 20m² to 28 m²). The hotel also features two rooms accommodated for people with reduced mobility and six communicating rooms. All our rooms have been recently renovated for your comfort, in a contemporary style.

ACCESS
The charming village of St-Nectaire is located in the South of Clermont-Ferrand (30 minutes away by car and only 20 minutes from the Highway).The Hotel is located in the lower part of the village (on the left side of the street, coming from Champeix; on the right side of the street coming from Murol).
– Coming from the highway A75 (Montpellier) take the exit n°6 coming from the North/ Take the exit n°14 coming from the South;
– Coming from the highway A71 (Paris)/A72 or A89 (Lyon): join the highway 75 bypassing Clermont-Ferrand then take the exit n°6. Follow the direction of Champeix then St-Nectaire;
– The hotel is only 20 minutes away from the highway A75;
– A89 (Bordeaux): exit St-Julien-Puy-Laveze. During the winter, it is advised to follow the highway till Clermont-Ferrand then to join the A75 and the exit n°6;
– Clermont-Ferrand Airport: 40km/35 minutes;
– The hotel is only 30 minutes away from the Grande Halle d’Auvergne (Congress center) and the Zenith. The access to the Grande Halle is faster coming from Saint-Nectaire than by the center of Clermont-ferrand during the jam hours.

Saint-Nectaire is located at the edge of the Auvergne Regional Volcanoes Nature Park which gathers magnificent landscapes built by eruptions of volcanoes. In the North, The Monts Domes or “Les Puys” chain, gathering 80 curved volcanoes and spreading over 45km is a natural site unique in Europe. The most famous volcano: The “Puy de Dome” culminates at 1665 meters high and its peak offers a view over all The Puys Chain. Since May 2012, it is possible to reach the top of the Puy de Dome by a cog railway train.In the South, The Dore-Sancy heights and its volcanoes more ancient than those of the Puys Chain, steeper and more eroded. The Puy of Sancy culminates at 1885 meters. It is the highest Volcano in France. It is reachable by the cable car of the Mont Dore, and then by foot by a wooden stair (it takes around 20 minutes). During the winter, the massif proposes 2 ski resorts: Super Besse and the Mont Dore.

The Chaudefour Valley 15km away
The natural reserve of Chaudefour is one of the three glacial valleys of the Massif Du Sancy. It is known for its alpine flora and its two sharp dykes (the Tooth of Grudge and the Crest of the Rooster). It constitutes one of the most beautiful valleys in Auvergne. It became a natural-reserve in 1991 to protect its flora and fauna. Indeed, the combined action of the altitude (1150m-1850m), the slope of the slopes and its exposure plus the maintenance of the agro-pastoral practices has created a wide variety of environments forming a site of great ecological interest. The diversity of environments induces a huge faunistic diversity: Corsican mouflon, chamois, roedeer.
